Description:The Bohemian Grove, which is part of the Bohemian Club, is a private men’s club founded in 1872 and based in San Francisco. The Grove itself consists of 2700 acres of forest and watershed, a small part of which is developed with living quarters for members and guests, stages for performances, dining facilities, hiking trails, a trap-and-skeet shooting range, a small store, and a message center.

Bohemian Grove events are:

The Spring Jinks June 3 - June 8, 2014
The Encampment July 8 – July 27, 2014

Most jobs are available during the events only, when over 2000 members and guests will stay at the Grove.

The HR Assistant will assist the HR Director before and during the Summer Events.

Hours will be fulltime the week of 5/27, evenings during Jinks and afternoon/evening hours during Encampment. Hours may vary.



Duties:•Prepare reports as needed for management and security.
•Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
•Verifies I-9 documentation and filing
•Using badge machine to create security badges for employees.
•Updates HRIS system with new and returning employee information.
•Assists with recruitment and interview process.
•Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions.
•Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
•Assists or prepares correspondence
•Performs other duties as assigned.

•Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.

•Safety and security—the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.
•Strong computer skills in, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with HRIS a plus!
Able to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
Must be eighteen years or older.

Must be available to start May 20th.
